Reuni com o Jorge e a Ana num simpático café em Leiria. Conversámos sobre coisas de que todos gostamos – fotografia e viagens – e sobre o que seria, para eles, mais importante no dia do casamento. Escolheram São Pedro de Moel como cenário para as fotos da sessão de namoro. A Ana é de lá e ambos gostam desta simpática terra costeira.
Do pinhal saíram os primeiros cliques; depois, junto ao mar, o icónico farol e o passadiço presentearam-nos com bonitas vistas. Uma tarde algo ventosa, quente (não estivéssemos em julho) e bem passada. Bem dispostos e de sorrisos abertos, a lente da minha câmara registou-os sempre em cumplicidade e amor, no lugar onde se sentem em casa e onde, algum tempo depois, casaram.

I met with Jorge and Ana at a nice cafe, in Leiria. We talked about things we all like – photography and travel – and what would be most important things for them on their wedding day. They chose São Pedro de Moel as the setting for the photos of the e-session. Ana was raised there and they both like this nice coastal village.
On the pine forest we shot the first photos; then, by the seaside “walk”, near the iconic lighthouse, we took advantage of the beautiful sights. It was a windy, hot and pleasant afternoon. The lens of my camera registered the couple in their complicity, love and joyfulness in a place where they felt at home and where, later, they got married.
